CipherX launches painless tattoo technology
On Thursday, London-based skin technology company CipherX hosted a launch party in Shoreditch to debut their Microdot Tattoos, a fundamentally new approach to permanent tattooing made possible through advanced microdot technology. The technology enables permanent tattoos to be applied in around 15 minutes with minimal discomfort and aftercare, opening tattooing to people who may never have considered getting one before.

Festival of Libraries experiences surge in attendance
Indicative data from Manchester City of Literature’s Festival of Libraries revealed that the festival saw over 94,000 people attend events at libraries across the city region, an increase of 339% YOY. It has been great to see recent coverage run in the likes of Manchester TV and Mag North, and with 98% of festival attendees agreeing that libraries are an essential community service, it feels more vital than ever to celebrate these community hubs.

MCM Comic Con Birmingham unveils family-friendly lineup
With MCM Comic Con Birmingham just around the corner (7-9 August), an exciting array of activities have been announced with something for all the family to enjoy. The Treehouse, MCM’s dedicated family zone, will feature a Kids Cosplay Showcase, Just Dance for Kids and interactive activities with children’s publisher Little Tiger. With live entertainment, special guests and hands-on activities, MCM Comic Con Birmingham is the ultimate family day out.
