The Brief

Prestel Publishing appointed MIDAS to promote Inner Light: The Portraiture of Chris Levine by Helen Chislett, and its special edition, Chris Levine: Light, celebrating the pioneering artist's transformation of portraiture through light and technology, with sitters spanning royalty, music and fashion. Our brief was to reach collectors, art enthusiasts and audiences fascinated by the intersection of art and technology.

The Work

We ran outreach to national, arts, lifestyle and tech media to reflect the artist's profile and technology focus, extending to music, fashion, luxury and royal titles to reflect Chris’s high-profile sitters. We prioritised warm contacts for early coverage and arranged interviews and features, coordinating with the artist's PR team, and distributing press images and early copies ahead of launch.

The Results

We secured coverage across print, online and podcast media, including long-form and syndicated interviews, features and a gift guide placement, showcasing the artist's sitters, technology use and publication quality.
