The Brief

For the fourth consecutive year, MIDAS was retained to promote the Cliveden Literary Festival and elevate its standing as one of the UK's leading cultural events. Our objectives were to drive ticket sales, secure high-impact national and regional coverage, build anticipation around the programme announcement and manage strong onsite media presence.

The Work

We delivered a PR strategy spanning pre-announcement planning, programme launch and onsite media management, securing widespread listings across consumer, lifestyle, luxury and trade titles. We managed press requests for the speaker list and targeted national outreach with tailored news, feature and diary angles. Following a visit from Her Majesty The Queen, we worked with photo wires to place photo-led features, and secured broadcast coverage across BBC One, BBC World News and Times Radio, managing the press office over the festival weekend.

The Results

We delivered record-breaking visibility for the sold-out festival, with major national coverage across leading titles and broadcast platforms, alongside extensive regional coverage and syndication significantly expanding audience reach.
